Relaxation
The Congo Bongo tropical gardens offer a tranquil environment and a great opportunity to relax and unwind. We are located in the Gandoca-Manzanillo nature reserve and so nature, flowers, toucans, enormous trees, small rivers and a lush green are dominating features all around us.

We can help you arrange services that complement your group’s focus or interests, including massage and spa packages. We’ll also help you to arrange for local practitioners and facilitators appropriate to your group’s primary focus. Please inquire directly for more information about available services and costs. We can also help you to arrange for any local transport or tours that your group may require.
Facilities
Our Long Dream House is spacious enough to use as your group’s meeting place for activities and group meals. Congo Bongo is suitable for groups of up to 40 participants.
The town of Manzanillo, with a supermercado and several restaurants, is a short walk (~15 minutes) away, and additional services are available in Puerto Viejo, a short taxi ride up the road.
Each of our houses has kitchen facilities and barbecues if you wish to prepare your own meals, or Congo Bongo is able to arrange for catered Caribbean-style meals for your group (breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner; vegetarian is an option) on request. Please inquire about costs for this service.
Spa Services
If you would like a good massage or a soft peel we can arrange a spa package for you - we highly recommend the Indulgence Spa & Beauty Salon and the Pure Jungle Spa. After a session there you can pop right out on the beach, come back and change for dinner.
